The American Feed Industry Association is pleased to announce the promotion of Gary Huddleston as its director of feed manufacturing and regulatory affairs. Huddleston previously served as the manager of feed manufacturing safety and environmental affairs. He joined AFIA in 2015.
The American Feed Industry Association hosted its annual Purchasing & Ingredients Suppliers Conference in Orlando, Florida, March 7-9. There were 641 registered attendees, making 2017 PISC registration the highest in history.
The American Feed Industry Association welcomes Wilbur Ross as the Department of Commerce’s secretary. AFIA intends to work closely with the DOC moving forward—U.S. trade efforts, including animal food, are expected to now fall under its diction—and will support the secretary in the promotion and enforcement of laws regarding fair trade and open markets for U.S. products.
